I bought them for a weatherproof tool box. .
I bought these for the weatherproof tool box. While they fit perfectly and appear to be made from quality materials, they don't offer enough lift support to keep the toolbox open. That being said, if you plan to use them on an auto glass or lighter tool box lid I have no doubt they will work.
