Review on Nantucket Seafood Oyster Knife Inches by Genene Locson

I have used this item for several months with no major problems. The length of the blade made it difficult to sever the upper sphincter at times, but was otherwise up to the task. I recently received a couple of oysters that were significantly larger than those previously purchased. Unfortunately, when trying to open the large oysters, the blade broke off. I had to go back to an old tool commonly used by the casual oyster lover; large slotted screwdriver. I would recommend this knife with one caveat, only use it for shelling small to medium sized oysters.
