I've never had all weather rubber floor mats until I got my last SUV which came with them. Now I can't imagine going back to carpets. These floor mats are good because they are made of thick rubber so they last a long time. They have multiple lines of ridges so if you spill something it falls into those ridges instead of piling up under your feet. You can then just wait to take them out and spray them with water from your garden hose. They also have a lip around the edges to keep dirt, liquids and other debris that builds up on the mat and doesn't get underneath. Despite being a heavy rubber, it's surprisingly easy to cut with a utility knife. I had to trim the sides to get a good fit because they were slightly larger than the originals we had in our Hyundai Tucson. The rest of the mats fit perfectly after I trimmed off the excess and the passenger side front mat fitted perfectly with a bit of trimming around the edges. On the driver's side, however, the mat buckled incorrectly in all shapes due to the upper left footrest. I had to cut out a significant portion of the top left side of the rug and it's not a very pretty sight. However, despite the rough appearance, it still works well.
