This cute doorstop is suitable for light doors. I have it under my laundry room door, it's a bit unbalanced and likes to close on its own. The doorstop works well for this door, but it's a lightweight door. The doorstop is very light and there is no handle underneath. This makes the doorstop less effective when trying to hold a heavy or tensioned door. My dog also thinks it's a toy, but that's more of my dog's problem than the plugs. All in all, this doorstop matches light colored doors and is more of a cute accent in your home than an ugly standard brown or black stopper.
