It fits perfectly on my 46 year old Cigarette Adapter
This item has met all my expectations and/or requirements. I didn't have to change anything on the dashboard of my Firebird 75. I used this item to replace the plug adapter on the power cord of my 12 volt air pump which is powered by the cigarette lighter on the dash. The fuse in the old plug adapter overheated and twisted it so I couldn't plug it into the socket adapter on my car's dash.
