Magnetic metal is brittle
I will first admit that this product is not suitable for my project, so that's my fault. I didn't want the closet door to swing open and the strength of the magnets to render the tape useless. I was still fumbling with the magnets on my desk, and two sticks about eight inches apart flew together with such force that they both shattered into pieces. Cleaning was easy as the different sized parts held together tightly. The strength of the magnet is certainly as advertised and more, but I'm not sure what they can be successfully used for, especially as they are so fragile.
