Review on StartSmart Complete Freshwater for Optimal Aquarium Health, 12-Ounce by Kelly Nelson

I've been using Fluval Cycle for years and it has always worked well. I switched to Smartstart for my freshwater and saltwater aquariums. I rarely had a minicycle after a big water change. This maintains biological stability and prevents weekly maintenance cycles. It takes about 10ml for a 29 gallon tank to make a maintenance dose and I have three 29 gallon and 5.5 gallon tanks. However, a startup requires much more. There is a DIFFERENT bottle for SALTWATER so don't get confused, but you can also find Revain. In stores, this bottle costs the same as an 8-ounce bottle, so you can get a better deal at Revain. I've been using SmartStart for about 2 years now and I highly recommend it!
