The kit includes all the straps and brackets you would need for almost any bike, but for my FatBoy I just removed the light from the bracket that came with it (removing the three Phillips head screws) and uses the original mounting ring on the bike and no straps are required. Connected directly to the original connector. The light is cut out to fit perfectly in the standard housing and misalignment is not possible. Not only is it a lot brighter than the original, it also has a much wider beam, giving you around 45 degrees plus off-center light, perfectly illuminating ditches. Very good value compared to $549 Harley projector or $849 Harley Daymaker LED.
