It is important to note that most modern BIOSes do not send a POST code to a standard I/O address. This change happened around the time PCIe replaced PCI, so there are motherboards with PCI slots that don't show anything useful on that card. It worked for me on a Socket 939 board but not on an AM2 board. However, on older (and legacy) systems, these cards are a very handy tool.
