Towels are a gimmick

I bought this because I sealed my jar with Adam's glass sealer. This is the recommended product for cleaning glass after using sealants as it contains no alcohol or ammonia. I have read from people who have had streaking issues when using this towel and that this towel was recommended to avoid this issue. I had my doubts, but ordered anyway. After using the product, my suspicions were confirmed. This product simply uses the two cloth glass cleaning method and combines them into one cloth. The two-towel method consists of using a lower gsm microfiber for brushing and brushing and a higher gsm towel to try on and buff away residue. The problem with using just one towel is that the towel gets soaked quickly, rendering it useless and leaving streaks. I ended up just switching to the two sets of microfibers I had insulated for the glass and they did the same job but removed the streaks better because I wiped with a dry soft cloth rather than a damp one. The product itself seems to clean normally, nothing special. If you're not buying it to use with glass sealant, you can also use a foaming aerosol glass cleaner (you know what I'm talking about). Be careful with this and/or sealant on the screen. One of the two products did something to my rear tint. When applying I noticed a strange strong smell of alcohol which I hadn't noticed when using before and after fully applying and cleaning, I noticed a lot of iridescent spots and bubbles in the shadows. I'm still awaiting a response from Adams on this. Ease of use: Not as easy as a foam spray but fairly intuitive, the more conscious you pull the trigger the better the result Smell: Smells like lemon/lime soda. efficiency. : Glass left clean, but nothing outstanding. Evaporates fairly quickly as it contains no alcohol. Cost: Expensive for what it is. Without sealing, an aerosol cleaner would make more sense. Durability: Crafted a 4-door, panoramic sunroof, SUV once inside and twice outside (once before and after sealing) and consumed half a bottle. Used it quite extensively as first external use was to smear glass for clay.
