I would recommend this accessory to anyone looking to use their phone for more 'serious' camera use. The adapter has an all-metal construction. The halves slide apart when you turn the handle with internal springs so you don't need 3 hands to install this. The build quality is quite good, there is very little play in the components. The adapter can hold fairly wide phones, and thanks to the rubber grips, you don't have to worry about damaging your device. There are threaded holes on the bottom and sides so you can mount your phone in any position or maybe even add accessories.
