My 2000 CR-V now has a third front door lock actuator on the driver's side. Having installed and tested it to work (now I've memorized the entire process and did the entire job in an hour), I don't see the point of buying the more expensive OEM or Dorman units as both are in my car failed. and this super cheap brand is identical to others I've replaced and works just as well. I've come to terms with the fact that it's just a low quality consumable part that I'll replace every few years regardless of the price so I'm not going to spend a ton of money every time. After all, they're just very simple electric motors housed in a weird plastic case, which is why I hate paying big bucks for them because they'll inevitably fail. If you're trying to decide between Dorman, OEM or this one, just buy this one. It's cheaper, it's the same, and when it inevitably fails you'll feel better knowing it was very cheap and the replacement will be very cheap too.
