These repair sheets are 3mm thick which I think is thicker than I think due to the fact they are strong and can be removed without the use of tools and a large don't bend efforts. They have 4 countersunk holes on one side and are supplied with high quality 4mm x 16mm self tapping screws that work best on wood or plastic. They can be used for other jobs that require a nut and bolt and you can use your own 4mm socket head or pan head bolts with nuts by inserting them through the hidden side. I used them to attach a wooden frame to an old sofa. which broke with the supplied screws and worked great. One plate on each side of the broken piece of wood and it's like new. I have 8 bars left for future use. Great quality product, they are over 24cm long so make sure they fit the area you are trying to renovate. A shorter 5" version is also available.
