I really struggled to find a good laptop sleeve with an amazing pattern but not complete rubbish, which might tear and fall. I read so many reviews and researched so many options. In the end, I chose simplicity over creative expression. I ordered a black case. So far, it's good. Make sure you get that ORDER THE RIGHT model for your laptop. I chose carefully and correctly, and it was very easy to snap the lid open. Don't be afraid to give it a little nudge. I have a feeling that anyone who has struggled with this, didn't pay attention to the model number lol no freedom of movement issues sometimes it seems the cases prevent the screen from opening fully this isn't the one Case (haha, got it?) I'm currently typing with a security keyboard. It is excellent. It fits, although it seems better in some places than others, but that doesn't bother me. I'm sure I'll get used to typing on it within an hour. I probably won't mess around with a screen protector because I never get these things right. In general I am satisfied. Am I frustrated that I couldn't find the perfect laptop case that would protect my Mac while showing me what a great person I am? Yes. Am I satisfied that my Mac even has a decent case? Also yes. Life goes on. I hope I don't have to come back in 2 weeks to write an "update" on how things have fallen apart, which seems to be a common theme for many of these products. Wish me luck!
