Operating this laser device is so simple and straightforward. Plug it in, turn it on, set the power level, put it on the skin where the hair is and press the button to activate it. One thing I have to say is that you must shave your hair before using it. The laser light must reach the hair follicles. Longer hair will block it a little. I hold the device directly against my skin when I turn on the light. This is a quick flash. I also do two flashes in one spot before moving on to the next section. But I've been using it for a while and I know my skin tolerates it. Start at a lower level and only do one flash per area on the first run. Also, this light can damage your eyes. Always wear those dark glasses when using it. I wear glasses and close my eyes when I turn on the lights. Just extra security for me. At 999,999 flashes, that's more than you're likely to ever use. I noticed less hair above my lip. And the hair that is still growing grows much more slowly. It says it doesn't work with blonde or gray hair but for some reason it works for me. What a great way to slow down my hair growth. control and hopefully gone forever in some areas.
