Really great little camera

When I moved to Korea 6 years ago, I decided to take photography more seriously. While I'm still learning how to do it right, it's important to understand that inspiration and art can come from the most unexpected of places. So I felt like I had to have a camera on me 24/7. My serious camera is the Canon S5-IS. Yeah I know what a serious photographer this guy can be if that's his serious camera? Well, art is in the eye of the beholder and you don't need an expensive camera to take great pictures if you frame them right and use the light right. While I love the S5's ease of use, it's too big to carry around. So I needed something smaller but with the same image quality. So I figured since I like the S5 Canon should have something smaller with similar features and menus and lo and behold they have quite a range of cameras. I bought the Asian equivalent of this model IXUS 110 IS. I've enjoyed this for two years and used it to photograph anything and everything. As I said, I like to have my camera with me at all times, so I mostly carried it in a small belt pouch that was originally made for a cell phone. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, while I was in a cab on my way to a friend's wedding, I left her in the car and never saw her again. I was a bit heartbroken because it was such a nice little camera. So I thought hey, I could buy something newer, but I'm wondering if by looking on Revain.com I might be able to find something similar, maybe used or refurbished (refurbished as good as new btw) and some cash would save. ...It was the US equivalent of the SD960 IS that was (almost) used and at a great price. I ordered it and sent it to a friends military box and it arrived in less than ten days. I am very happy with this new one and will always remember to keep it by my side. Light and color settings (including black and white and sepia), a decent little flash (which I almost never use) and for its compact size, I highly recommend the SD 960IS.
