Review on Logitech G G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse by Stanislaw Rogulski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

After almost half a year of hunting for a mouse, the choice came down to between this one and the steeseries rival 600. I've been staring at this model for a long time, but in the end, I went with this one. G502 is more comfortable to hold in the hand. In general, I believe that the issue with the wheel is a pretty significant disadvantage because it is obvious that the stopper is unable to deal with the blocking of the heavy wheel for an extended period of time. In any event, I do not have any remorse for the money that was spent, and I will certainly advise others to get the mouse; nonetheless, the mouse was not successful in all 5 of the tests. I will say it again: two months of the wheel functioning normally is not nearly enough time.

Pros
  • 1. form; 2. sensor; 3. wagon profiles dpi; 4. wheel with two modes (smoothly transition to disadvantages); 1. shape; 2. sensor; 3. wagon profiles dpi; 4.
Cons
  • 1. the wheel is dense, hefty, and difficult; for the first one to two months, it audibly clicked, and every rotation of the wheel was audibly detected. In addition, the lock starts to become less tight, the wheel starts to break through the lock, and the feelings become significantly more unpleasant. 2. the dpi profile switching and wheel lock buttons are located close to each other and are very easy to press, which regularly leads to unpleasant moments of sensitivity return. for reliability - the blocking works, and the wheel does not roll off somewhere, but 1-2 extra passes periodically happen + the wheel as a whole does not go as tight and hard; 3. for comfort - the blocking works, and the wheel does not roll off somewhere; 4. for comfort - the wheel as a whole does not go as tight and hard; 5.
