we bought 2 of these for our girls. One tongue stays in, the other keeps popping out driving me insane (cat doesn't seem to mind). But the way it's made is very pretty - the rounded hemline looks great and certainly feels nicer than a flat collar. The bell is not uncomfortable at all and my younger cat doesn't mind it, in fact I think she likes it. I took it off for an older man who wouldn't appreciate it. I don't like flashy bright colors. They harmonize very well with the cat color. I used dark berry for my grey/white cat and green for my pirate girl. Both match coat color and character. They've been wearing them for a few months and I don't see any signs of wear or irritation.
