I've used them to paint on rocks a couple of times. I've had some of these grips a while back that are starting to wear out so thought I'd replace them with the same ones as they've lasted so long. The first few times the new ones worked great! But after about 4/5 use they dried up, I don't even write on paper anymore! I have put off replacing my old ones to make sure there is nothing better on the market. I thought they were the same as the old ones, but unfortunately they aren't. Not only do they not work with pebbles, they don't even write on paper anymore. Very disappointed!
