My son had his cruciate ligament, MCL, both menisci and patella dislocated in October 2017 and ended up dislocating in January 2018 operates after months PT before and after. He still works out twice a week and uses an articulated knee brace while building strength and healing the graft. I bought him this brace to help with some of the nagging swelling (despite increasing, icing with a compression machine I bought 2-4 times a day) but some of the swelling just wouldn't go away in certain areas. My son loves this knee brace/brace. His swelling goes down. He says the brace feels just as good, if not better, than his sling knee brace and is comfortable. Not too hot and doesn't make your knees sweat. So we are very happy with this brace/brace and can't wait to show our orthopedist how well it helps with swelling.
