The blades spin well and seem to trim well but the lint catcher design doesn't work effectively. Since you have to hold it at an angle to the fabric to remove the pills, it has to push the lint pills up into the bin. The old design had the vanes at right angles to the sump. Much better! The opening of the catcher is very narrow and I caught large clumps of lint in the blade area and had to disassemble the guard and blades to remove it. Also, the battery compartment will open most of the time when you use it as the cover can be detached very easily. It has to be taken to a different location than where you hold the device to operate it, otherwise the cover will be much more difficult to remove. They really should go back to the old design. Very disappointed with this razor.
