Review on πŸ“± ProCase iPad 10.2 Case (9th/8th/7th Gen) - Slim Stand Hard Back Shell Protective Smart Cover Case - Black by William Kava

It smells horribly like dead fish.

I ordered 2 Pro cases: 1 for my iPad and 1 for my daughter's iPad. They were different sizes as my daughter's iPad was an older model. When they both entered, they both clicked in and worked as expected. They were comfortable to hold and very durable. Closing the flip would quickly put the iPad to sleep, and opening it would wake it up. Good performance, but that's where the good ended and the bad engulfed the rest of the product. My Pro Case arrived with a terrible dead fish smell. I assumed it was probably shipped on a cargo ship or something from China and somehow got across with a load of dead fish. Maybe Godzilla spilled some leftover food from the table onto the shipping container my Pro Case was in after feasting on a nearby fishing tower, who knows?! The rest seemed solid and reliable so I figured it could be cleaned and I could work with it. I used it for about a week and the smell just got worse. It was so fetid my nose would choke and then rebelled again when it was brought back from the grave by the same stench that killed it, but would not rest. I brought it to work and my colleague asked if I had rotten fish in my lunch bag because he could smell it from the next table. Unfortunately I had to tell him that it wasn't a dead fish because if it was I could just throw it away and get rid of this nuisance. the smell of my iPad case. How was I supposed to explain to the judge that I should keep custody of my daughter when there was a real possibility that my daughter could die from the smell of my iPad? So since I was at the bottom and hadn't even started drinking heavily yet, I figured I'd wash that stupid suitcase. I started by gently hand washing the case twice with warm water and concentrated laundry soap. No cubes, although I got an odd orange-brown oil at first. I then soaked the piece in vinegar for a day before washing it twice more with more concentrated detergent. Still incredibly bad. I decided that if I couldn't get rid of the smell I would mask the smell. I took a lemon scented concentrated stain remover, soaked the thing in it, rinsed, soaked again for a day, rinsed, washed again with a stain remover and finally rinsed. There was a strong smell of lemons; much better. I hung it up to dry overnight. Finally there is hope! I started using the case again. However, after 2-3 days, the fresh lemon scent has dissipated so much that it no longer serves its purpose adequately. The smell of lemon is still there and it's strong, but it just couldn't get over the pure stench smell that came from the devil himself. The stench seemed to draw strength from my suffering and grew stronger every day. At this point in my life, between alimony, alimony, and ever-increasing medical bills that could be the result of an invincible enemy, I was frustrated. this pro case. It sits on a shelf in a sealed ziplock airtight bag. I am currently attempting to rebuild my life from the crumbling ruins in hopes that there is still good in this world to enjoy. My daughter's Pro Case doesn't seem possessed by the same demons since my wife still lets them live in the same house. So, in my opinion, there is a half chance that you can avoid these disasters. Enjoy!
