I bought this kit in a hurry: I needed an easy to use brush for my tile area as well as cleaning Resolve Carpet Cleaner on my carpeted areas so I did it. I can't keep up with my two cats. It will remove any dirt from hard surfaces, but not so hard that it causes problems when working with carpets. I used to need a hand brush to do these jobs, but at 72 it's a tedious job.
