Review on π CableMod ModMesh Sleeved USB 3 Right Angle Extension by Rob Madden
Not compatible with all motherboards.
This cable was not designed for the 3.0 connector on my Asus Crosshair Hero IV AM4 motherboard. The problem is that the orientation of the cable causes the entire cable to run inward toward the motherboard. Well, that won't be a problem for some motherboards, but it essentially defeats the purpose of keeping everything organized and tidy. Overall, this product looks and feels premium, but the manufacturer should have offered a right-angle plug with the beam turned the other way. Needless to say, I may just use this cable for a future project.
