The reason I bought this device was because it looks like you can use your phone to stream Netflix and Disney+ for example, but you can't. I bought an adapter which they said will work. It's not like this. It mirrors your phone's screen, but not when you're on the Netflix or Disney+ app. So now I had to buy DVDs to use on future trips. Update: still not working but their customer service is top notch and they offered to refund me for the adapter. Complete customer service history. When I found that the phone wasn't working with the USB port, I contacted the support team. They quickly called me back with an answer to buy an adapter, they sent me a link there directly. I bought an adapter and when it arrived I tried it out. The phone mirrors the DVD screen until you open Netflix or Disney Plus. They contacted me to try and help by offering to buy an adapter which I said I already have and they offered me a refund for the adapter.
