Review on Wintape Workbench Adhesive Backed Measure: Accurate and Convenient Measurement Solution by Dee Parson

It's not metal, I think it might be some kind of vinyl. So I think it would be possible to pull so hard that it would stretch when installed. However, I didn't have the problem. I put it against my bench and measured it with a metal tape measure and every inch matched the tape measure. So ignore the reviews that say this is not the case. I suspect these are examples where the tape stretched when applied.
