I bought a cabin air filter for TOYOTA Celica Replace CP846, CF9846A (Activated Carbon 2-pack) for my 2002 Toyota Celica GT and this is the perfect cabin air replacement kit Filter. I like activated carbon filters as they remove some odors while filtering the air. Cabin air filters are often overlooked. Most people don't think about them until they have some kind of problem. If the cabin air filter is clogged or full of dirt, the airflow will be restricted. This is especially noticeable when you open the vents and there is very little or no airflow. Also when you turn on the air conditioner or heater and find that there is no air blowing even though your system fan is audible. If you notice an odor when you turn on the fan or open the air vents, you may also need to replace your cabin air filter. Your vehicle's owner's manual will tell you how often you need to change the filter. If you have allergies and live in an area with a lot of pollen or air pollution, it's important to change your cabin air filter regularly. I change mine every year. This is a set of 2 activated carbon filters. They appear to be well made. I had absolutely no trouble installing one (the other for later). To change the cabin air filter in a 2002 Toyota Celica, start in the glove box. The filter is behind the glove box. Open the glove box and remove the 2 pins inside the glove box in the top right and top left corners. Rotate the pins toward you and remove them. Then the glove box "opens". let it hang Look up and behind the glove box. You will see a filter box. Pull it straight towards you. You may have to push the sides down a bit to unlock them. After pulling out the air filter frame, remove the old air filter from the frame. Insert the new air filter into the frame and install the frame into the drawer/slot. Lift the glove box into place, insert the pins and twist to latch. Once the pins engage, they shouldn't "fall" and you should be able to close the glove box. If not, then you didn't have the glove box in the correct position before you installed the pins. Remove the pins, lift the glove box and reinstall the pins.
