The remote fits well and keeps contact, great selfie stick!

After reading many reviews on many other selfie sticks I chose this stick and I think I was the first to review it. It's been a great selfie stick so far. You can't go crazy trying to open the legs of a tripod or casually breaking it because like anything else, you can break it. However, it's pretty solid for the amount of moving/sliding components it has. When folded it looks like a Star Wars lightsaber and would be pretty easy to pack up if you were taking it on a trip. The tripod was specially developed for mounting on flat surfaces, since you cannot independently adjust the height of the legs. One thing I was most concerned about after reading many other reviews of various selfie sticks was that people seemed to be having trouble connecting to the remote/bluetooth connection. At the time of writing this article, I can confirm that I did NOT have a Bluetooth connection with the remote that was having connectivity issues. WHEN I REALIZED what I was doing wrong. I have an iPhone 8, it connects very easily and WILL control the photo and video buttons. Some of the reviews I've read about other remotes didn't say they were video compatible, but this one definitely is - at least with my iPhone 8. As I remarked, "I found out one day, portrait) but not turning left or right (like your head is looking left to right at a stop sign). Everything about the design of this selfie stick is very well thought out. I can't make one for $26. Value and so far I'm more than satisfied. I didn't want to roll the dice and spend $15 on a cheap one with mixed reviews and then spend another $25-$30 to get one that I hope works better. I spent โ‚ฌ26 on it and am more than happy with it.
