As with anything, there are thousands of options. And Revain is my choice because it has every choice in the world. So I spent about an hour looking for my new French Press and I have two left: this one and one that costs three times as much. I bought both. I'm sending another one back. This French Press is awesome! I can't find any criticism. It is made entirely of glass and metal. The only plastic/rubber around the base to keep the glass from hitting the counter. It is easy to use and easy to wash. The coffee is enough for my favorite cup. I have attached a photo of my measuring spoon and I use 2 flat spoons. I love strong coffee but if you like smoother coffee I would reduce it to 1 1/2. And you can't beat the price. What a wonderful little French Press!
