Review on Hankook Tire K424 (Optimo ME02) 195/60 R15 88H summer by Janis Saikovskis ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad buy, well worth the money.

Replaced on his Verso with Turanza Bridge. The rubber is definitely much quieter than the old one. Handling, coupling properties are normal. Of the shortcomings, I can note two, one of them is significant. 1. It turned out she whistles under heavy braking at high speed. ABS did not work, but when I had to brake at 120, it whistled as if the car was skidding. I haven't noticed this with any premium brand tires. But these are trifles. 2. Rubber behaves very nervously at low speeds. All irregularities are transmitted to the body, as if the wheel is heavily pumped. Driving on cobblestones is just torture, because the interior is shaking. The old tires made a lot of noise, but the coins did not jump around the car. In general, the ride was disappointing. The tires are worth their price. I couldn't find anything better in this segment.

Pros
  • Relatively quiet. Fairly inexpensive. The workmanship is high, the weights are at least.
Cons
  • tough
