Favorite food of all my parrots for over 10 years

My parrots have been enjoying Lafeber Nutri-Berries for over 10 years and this nutritious treat is a staple of their diet. I also participated in three different bird rescue programs during this time. This often resulted in displaced parrots being raised in anticipation of an 'eternal' home. Nutriberries have been widely accepted by all of the parrots in my care, although initially they sometimes refused to eat other foods and seeds. They have four favorite foods and I alternate between different flavors. Although some prefer one or two flavors as their first preference, none of them have ever rejected any of the four chosen when placed on a plate of food. I haven't found anything better in nutrition or in a bird-friendly, fun form that they can hold in their paws so easily. Some of the many benefits of Nutri-Berries are: 1. Nutri-Berries are 100% edible and have no seed coats, meaning there is no waste. Most seeds and grains are NOT crushed, providing better nutrition.3. NO artificial flavors or colors so the orange chunks are real papaya and the yellow chunks are real pineapple NOT anything artificial that might look or smell like fruit. Nutri Berries contain the nutrients found in pellets and as my birds do not eat pellets this alternative is perfect to supplement with cooked and fresh vegetables along with their daily seed diet. Most of my parrots love to hold and eat Nutri-Berries in their claws, so in round shapes they are comfortable and easy to hold.6. Ready to serve right out of the box, so no further preparation is required. Serving Suggestions: While Nutri Berries are ready to eat straight from the packet, I use a variety of methods to keep things interesting. 1. I sometimes serve these Nutri-Berries as an evening treat in a separate bowl from their overnight seed ration. Each parrot gets 3 Nutri-Berries along with a whole inshell walnut that I split in half. Alternatively, I can substitute almonds for the walnuts and then add a slice of apple, a large juicy grape, and/or a whole fresh carrot. It's just their evening snack, unlike their morning fresh meal. However, it keeps her calm and content while I finish my evening rounds with fresh water and a quick vacuum to clear the seeds from the soil. I also use Nutri-Berries in my own bird seed mix. I mix 1 cup of Nutri-Berries with 1 cup of organic and whole grain breakfast cereals that contain NO added sweeteners like shredded wheat, wheat chex, rice chex, or Cheerios. Then I add 1 cup of raw, unsalted and unroasted nuts. The last thing I add is 1 cup chopped and dried fruit. I mix these healthy ingredients together and give ΒΌ cup to each of my parrots. Filled with different colors, flavors and textures, it's a tasty and nutritious snack that has always been a huge hit. these too. I save them to drizzle with morning cooked and fresh veggies as a nutritious topping that adds an unexpectedly crunchy texture to their soft food. that I'm hanging in the bars of her cage. So I don't experience wastage like everyone else, my birds love Nutri-Berries whether they're served as whole nuggets or the chunks and crumbs at the end of the bag. Tropical Nutri berries arrived in perfect condition. Whole berry nuggets, non-sticky, came without the usual bits and pieces at the end of the packet. Even when bought straight off the shelf and from a bird seed store, Nutri berries were not as fresh as when delivered from this vendor.
