Straight out of the box. That does not work. Does anyone know what could be wrong! If I live in a third world country it would probably cost me more to ship and return this item than actually looking for another reliable, good quality product. Facts: - The computer can recognize it when it is plugged in. - The computer won't let you use it. I've tried everything on the sound settings. - My computer is HP Pavilion dv6 - My operating system is Windows 8.1 (I tried to download the driver, I tried to use it to record the applications I have = nothing, my videos still have no sound, even in the sound settings of the computer under this microphone .-after switching on there are no waves showing that it detects noise). All of them. so disappointing, "for something that should just be plug and play on any laptop with any operating system! Almost gave up and tossed the thing in the trash! (I feel so cheated and cheated by Amazon and the seller). WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?
