This small USB-C to dual DisplayPort adapter does exactly what I need: Simply connect 2 external DisplayPort monitors with 1920 x 1080 via the Thunderbolt Connect USB-C port. The adapter meets my main criteria: * USB-C to 2x DisplayPort * 3 Monitor Extended Display Support (screen extension to 3 monitors) * no extra/external power adapter * portable (small and light) I often work in hotels. My HP company laptop will not connect to docking stations, preventing me from using the external monitors that came with it. With this adapter, I can easily run DisplayPort cables from an unused docking station to my laptop and use external monitors. Monitors may not be recognized by the computer depending on how the cables are connected. My current approach is to connect the DisplayPort cables first, make sure the monitors are powered on, and then connect the USB-C cable. Overall, I'm very happy with this adapter: it works, it's portable, and one small flaw is easy to fix. work around. And at $40 a great value for my increased productivity.
