Great 2 monitor expansion solution for your laptop

I bought this to expand my small screen laptop (Dell Latitude 7300) into a more complete workstation. I plugged the device into the USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port and it was immediately recognized by my system (Windows 10). Two 22-inch Viewsonic HD monitors (VA2256-MHD) were then added using the display port option on each monitor. Both are recognized without problems. Set up advanced mode. Works perfectly! My productivity has increased 100 times. I highly recommend this product for display portโ€ฆ

Several GoFanco adapters were causing a blue screen of death error. Avoid!

The adapter has been repeatedly reflashed by Lenovo. GoFanco's USB-C to Dual DisplayPort adapter takes too long to transfer data, causing Windows 10 to think there is a display power failure and triggers the Win32k power watchdog timeout . This happened on two units (I replaced the first one thinking it might be defective) so it appears to be a design flaw in the unit. When the display works at all, it's pretty good, although it throws an error at times. and only display one screen with lowโ€ฆ

Does exactly what I need

This small USB-C to dual DisplayPort adapter does exactly what I need: Simply connect 2 external DisplayPort monitors with 1920 x 1080 via the Thunderbolt Connect USB-C port. The adapter meets my main criteria: * USB-C to 2x DisplayPort * 3 Monitor Extended Display Support (screen extension to 3 monitors) * no extra/external power adapter * portable (small and light) I often work in hotels. My HP company laptop will not connect to docking stations, preventing me from using the external monitors
