Review on ☕ Stariver 2L Electric Kettle with LED, Glass Water Kettle Fast Boil, Auto Shut-Off, Boil-Dry Protection, Stainless Steel Inner Lid & Bottom - Black by Scott Ward

So I tried several kettles to understand which one I liked the most in terms of shape, functionality and utility. This one became my favorite to the point that when I broke the kettle on my first one (my fault, accident) I turned around and immediately bought another one. ADVANTAGES: * Fast; so fast that most of the time I can't even prepare everything that requires hot water before it's done * Good capacity * Nice design * Safe to use; does not run down the edges even when filled to the brim which are not easy to find. CONS * This is my biggest concern and reason for one star. The first one I bought had a strainer that attached to the lid and completely covered the spout when it was closed. This was one of my favorite features as I could safely leave unused water in the kettle for later in the day without worrying about bugs or dust. The new kettle doesn't have this; Instead, it has a plastic filter element with large slits that doesn't completely cover the opening. The strainer/filter was one of the reasons this was my favorite kettle, so it's grim. hear the switch click if I step back for a second.
