I've never been a Mac fan and would never buy one, but my daughter's school "highly recommended" a Mac, which means Windows PCs or Chromebooks aren't suitable. Not wanting to spend $1200 on a laptop for a 13 year old, I bought this refurbished unit for $575. It's more than a new PC or premium Chromebook. Now, less than 6 months after purchase, but already after the 90-day guarantee has expired, it will not be charged. The fix will likely cost more than a regular Chromebook or equivalent PC, and it turns out either would be fine at my daughter's school. Never again!
