Looks great on presentation as it mimics an Apple SSD. But don't be fooled: Authentic looks really similar. Shape, print, metal are reminiscent of Apple. You should look for differences in the small text or on the side metal clips. Unfortunately, the outward resemblance to the original Apple part ends. Performance To be honest, the speed is quite disappointing: around 1500 MB/s read and 1200 MB/s write. That's about half of the original Apple. When I import images into Photoshop, the slowdown is noticeable. Conclusion I wanted to upgrade, not downgrade. I wish I could wait for OWC's decision and I would have gotten mine back.
