Thin as some say, but want something heavy to drag on top of your expensive camera? I found this diffuser better than the horseshoe. For some reason they don't always let the flash fire. I still have to manipulate the camera enough to stop it. I haven't had any issues with this type of box and it's great. I had no problems with the coating peeling off as seen in other reviews. I actually prefer this diffuser because, unlike horseshoes, I can fold it up to fit in my camera bag. For the price, this is a great option, especially for beginners.
