My e-bike tends to bend and eventually break stems, both Presta and Schrader. The thicker the hose, the worse this effect becomes. This tube is very thin so I use an insert to keep spikes, screws and nails out, but the advantage of an e-bike is the flexibility of the stem. Even if the engine torque twists or deforms the stem, it doesn't break that often. Also, this hose doesn't need more than 40-50 pounds before it really starts to deflate. £30 is really low but I found it worked well with this type of cheap tube. Little extra rolling resistance, but more between flats.
