Processor came earlier than expected which is a plus! Performance wise, well after reading the reviews here and elsewhere on the web. I expected better speed when I went from i5 to i9. I notice a big difference between my old i5 laptop and this 9th gen i9, but between a 9th gen i5 and a 9th gen i9. I don't see a big difference. If you think you can use your old i5 fan with this chip think again, I had to buy a bigger fan as it keeps overheating and shutting down my computer. Now everything is fine with the new fan! All in all I could 100 00 save and get an i7. or just leave i5. Okay, I like things to be maximized.
