As advertised but with one critical design flaw

Product as advertised - simple, unobtrusive and relatively comfortable. But it has a critical design flaw that I didn't notice until I tried it, and that might be an impediment depending on your needs. If you need shoulder support by raising your elbow slightly, this sling will not work. Why? Shortening the strap will raise your wrist. Essentially, if you want to take the load off your shoulder by raising your elbow, you have to hold the side of your wrist down (forcefully) so that the elbow is forced up. This eventually leads to arm/shoulder fatigue and inability to support the hanging arm with ease. The bottom line is that it doesn't offer shoulder support, as the strap can't naturally hold the elbow up without having to press the wrist down. The material is soft, but not "sticky" enough for the wrist to rotate up naturally.
