Bought this a few months ago and checked it a few times after washing. Initially, this blanket was everything and more - very soft, heavy but not suffocating, large and seemingly durable. The first couple of washes were no problem - I washed on the gentle cycle with mild detergent and air dried before hitting. in the dryer at low speed. The attached photos were taken straight out of the washing machine tonight. I've had the duvet for about 4 months now and have washed it maybe 3 times including this time (I use a duvet cover and wash it regularly but try to avoid washing the lint off myself if possible). You can see from the photos that there are several large holes, one even seemed to go through. I'm not the type to leave negative reviews on here, I usually just throw the crappy item away and get on with my day. But I really liked this blanket and was hoping that the other negative reviews were just coincidence or maybe the washing instructions weren't followed properly. I didn't have time to return the item so I'm stuck with a faulty purchase but hopefully this review will help others. I think this product is definitely worth the price, but I would recommend using it for professional cleaning only.
