Ordered two XL Twin bases. Both found it extremely difficult to move the pins that hold the two halves of the device together. The problem was poor alignment of the sockets that the pins go into, which were off by about 1/4 inch. This issue has been mentioned in previous reviews. I've found that loosening the screw holds the two sides together by driving the pin into the socket with a hammer and then retightening the screws works quite well. The only potential problem I foresee is if I have to fold the frames together. I'll probably have to unscrew the screws all the way to free the pins from their sockets. Once assembled, the bed frames worked as expected. We couldn't use the massage function as our cats now disappear as soon as they hear the sound of the massager.
