Review on 12-Setting Electric Burr Coffee Grinder: Automatic Mill for 2-12 Cups, Stainless Steel, Precise Grind Settings by Andy Edwards

Not well thought out but works well

This does what I bought it for, which is an even grind from espresso to french press. The grain hopper holds much more than the capacity of the bin. I know so you don't have to overfill the funnel. However, when it stops grinding, grains and ground coffee remain all along the grind path, including above the hopper. This will result in a huge heap of earth when you dismantle the bunker. There is dirt in the hole above the hopper, and unless you tip and tap the whole grinder, you'll have a lot of dirt to remove. I only add as much as I need for that session, giving the grinder time to get rid of all the coffee grounds before turning it off. The second element is a clip in the lid for the included brush. A great idea! However, due to the hard plastic of the lid and the design of the clip, the clip broke on the third use so I threw the brush in the kitchen drawer. It's not comfortable anymore. There are other established coffee grinders in this price range, some of which are not as attractive, but could be better thought out.
