I do some research before I buy anything and these locks are the best. Not having to drill holes in the van not only increases its resale value, it also looks and performs exponentially better. Some say these slacks can easily be cut off, but even after cutting the lock from the front (through stainless steel, it's better to have a 6" cut-off or a damn burner) there are two massive plates, who protect the tie the way. As someone who works with metal construction on a daily basis, it would be easier for you to get into the van if you just cut a hole in the side panels (I recommend using small scissors) if you watch the installation videos, smooth the locks they cover everything down to fine-tuning to satisfy even my obsessive-compulsive disorder.
