Review on Panasonic NN-SN766S Stainless Steel Microwave Oven - Countertop/Built-In with Inverter Technology and Genius Sensor, 1.6 Cubic Foot Capacity, 1250W Power by Jeff Richardson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

1 year 9 months operation of the microwave oven costs only $111 a year! I would not buy again!

I have had this microwave for less than 2 years. I had my last Panasonic for almost 10 years and it was amazing this one not so much. He's had a few issues over time, but this last one is a nap. It woke us up in the middle of the night. They woke us up 2 rooms down, squeaking like an alarm clock. The power level counted by itself and emitted an acoustic signal. Press stop and it will stop for about 5 seconds and start again. If we then press Stop, no other keys will work. We disconnected and said maybe it will restart itself. So in the morning it's connected again. In less than 2 minutes it will start beeping. Then it stops by itself and then starts again. Press stop and no other buttons work. That's the shortest time I've worked with a microwave. Not sure if this is this model or a refurbished model we weren't aware of, but there's no way a $200 microwave should only last 1 year and 9 months!
