Goods returned because the description was unclear. The size listed of 1/2" x 1 1/2" describes the dimensions of the item itself, not the size/dimensions of the wrought iron patio furniture legs on which it is intended to be supported. The size of the rectangular legs I wanted to stand this item on is 1/2 W x 2 L. The actual mounting width of this item was a lot less than 1/2 inch, not even close. This is not mentioned in the ad description. The product itself looks high quality.
