Over the years I've gotten too lazy to work on my car and I just let the tire shop do it when I do oil changes, tire changes, etc. I've heard a slight squeak when braking, decided to check it out myself, ordered these pads and on Saturday morning lifted the front of the truck and changed them. I'll probably do it myself from now on given the time and money savings. It took me an hour to change these pads. I forgot how easy it was and how much money was stolen from me at the store. I understand they are trying to make a living, but I wasted over $25 and an hour of my time instead of not using my truck for most of the day and a few hundred dollars. I also went back to doing my own oil changes. I use fully synthetic filters and I can make them myself with a filter for $40 versus the nearly $100 they got at the store when they added their disposal and store fees.
