Review on πŸ”§ Optimize your Raspberry Pi with the BASEQI Low Profile Micro SD Adapter by Chris Horton

Perfect fit for my 256GB Lenovo 330S and Samsung Evo Select laptop

128GB (only 93GB available) and ran out of space once I started installing programs. So I needed to utilize my storage space with external storage without lugging around a clunky external SSD. So the SD card was perfect for me, but the standard micro SD card adapter spans 2/3 of the SD card slot on this particular computer considering how shallow the slot is, and it can with small mishandling easily break in half. So this adapter is perfect for me. As you can see in the picture below it fits perfectly and sticks out enough that I can easily remove the card with my fingernails. I'm using a 256GB Samsung EVO Select Micro-SD which has more storage space than the internal drive. I used it to transfer 1GB of data (at once) to my SD card, no problem.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
