Knotting is almost impossible

Advertised as something that can be cut and tied, which is definitely not true. It's thick and desperate to keep its old (wound) shape, so it's very difficult to get a knot to stay because it does its best to flatten and unravel. Yes, I've tried several knots including the one on the box, as well as the slipknot and bowline.
